Transfer of the flood hazard maps and the flood risk maps to administration authorities President of the National Water Management Authority informs that the transfer of the final versions of the maps to the administration units, said in the Article 88f paragraph 3 of the Water Law Act, was carried out on 15 April 2015. The maps of flood hazard and flood risk were published on http://mapy.isok.gov.pl on the Hydroportal of flood hazard maps and flood risk maps in pdf format. read more

The European Commission has approved big IT projects, including ISOK On 9 April EC decided on granting Poland the total amount of EUR 179 million for two projects in respect of informatisation and digitalisation. Both projects are financed under the Priority Information society – establishment of electronic administration under the Polish regional programme „Innovative Economy”. read more

About the Project

Ensuring an efficient system of the country protection against extreme hazards is particularly important taking into consideration an increasing number of this kind of events and bigger and bigger scale of the effects, both economic and social ones, which they cause. A crucial issue is also improvement of flood risks management.
